GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado women's soccer team is looking to get back on track this weekend as they prepare to face off against Regis University on Friday Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. and Colorado School of Mines on Sunday Oct. 24 at 1 p.m., both games will take place on the Katy O. Rady Field.
 
Prior to Sundays game, we will honor our 2022 graduates Grace Walker, Abbie Riley, Casey Elnicki, Casey Ober, Jessie Jacobsen, and Kaeyla Noble for Senior Day.
 
MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2021 SEASON STATS
Western Colorado heads into this week two tough losses, as they fell this past weekend to Westminster College and Colorado Mesa University. They are currently 4-7-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the RMAC. With heads high, Mountaineers are eager to secure a win.

On the season, Caileen Sienknecht leads the team with three goals while Casey Ober has two goals and teammate Laura Pelino has had two goals and two assists. Jessie Jacobsen has one goal and two assists, and  Kylie Hickox has a goal and an assist. Bridget Feely, Natasha Kasozi and Casey Elnicki all have one goal each.

Goalie, Kaeyla Noble has played all but 16 minutes this season for Western and has a 2.14 GAA and a 0.778 save percentage. 

REGIS UNIVERSITY HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021 SEASON STATS
The Rangers head into this Fridays game with 9-4 overall and 6-2 in the RMAC. They have played well this season and are currently on a two-game winning streak, with their most recent win coming from Colorado Christian University.
 
On the season Kelby Kuo leads the team with ten goals and nine assists. Following, teammates Madison Hand and Audrey Teague both have five goals and two assists each. Sarah Wynn and Keegan Storlie each have three goals, while Ella Palmer, Allison Warta and Claire Faulkner have two goals apiece.

THE MOUNTAINEERS VS. RANGERS ALL-TIME
Western Colorado is currently 0-8 against the Regis University Rangers and have yet to secure a win.
 
COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021 SEASON STATS
The Orediggers have been successful this season with 9-2-3 overall and 6-1-1 in the RMAC. Their single loss comes from Colorado Mesa University and their tie comes from Westminster College.
 
This season Reese McDermott leads the team with four goals and two assists, not far behind her are teammates Lauren Clingman and Emi Higgins with three goals each. Landry Corbett, Emma Peterson, Eliot Edwards, and Hannah Rowan all have one goal apiece.

THE MOUNTAINEERS VS. OREDIGGERS ALL-TIME
Western Colorado is 1-9 against the Colorado School of mines Orediggers and is currently on a 6 game losing streak.

WESTERN COLORADO NOTES

- NOBLE NAMED RMAC GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK (SEPT. 7)
Western Colorado's Kaeyla Noble is this week's Rocky Mountain Athletics Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after picking up two shutouts in two Mountaineer wins. Noble in a 1-0 season-opening win over Western Oregon on Friday in Grand Junction picked up six saves while playing all 90 minutes - facing nine shots. Noble was even more impressive against West Texas A&M in the Mountaineers' 2-0 win Sunday in Durango, picking up 11 saves - tied for the seventh-most in the nation during the opening weekend - while facing 21 shots.

- WELCOME TO KATY O. RADY FIELD - THE HIGHEST COLLEGIATE SOCCER FIELD IN THE WORLD
Western Colorado women's soccer will debut Katy O. Rady Field this season and it will be the highest collegiate soccer field in the world at 7,723 feet. 

- MOUNTAINEERS PICKED 12TH IN RMAC PRESEASON COACHES POLL (RELEASE)
The Western Colorado women's soccer team was voted 11th in the RMAC Women's Soccer Preseason Poll. Western Colorado went 1-8 overall and 1-4 in RMAC play during the spring 2021 season - moved from fall 2020 due to the pandemic.
