GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado men's basketball team puts its 4-0 mark at home on the line as the Mountaineers host CSU-Pueblo on Friday and New Mexico Highlands on Saturday at Paul Wright Gym.

THE MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019-20 SEASON STATS
Western Colorado is looking to snap its three-game skid this week after dropping a pair of games on the road last week - falling at Black Hills State 78-74 on Friday and to South Dakota Mines 71-55 on Saturday.

The Mountaineers are led in scoring by sophomore Cole Sienknecht at 13.0 points per game while also averaging 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Jackson Ehrlin is averaging 10.8 points and a team-best 6.4 rebounds per game while freshman Matthew Ragsdale has surged up to third on the team in scoring at 7.3 points per contest after averaging 12 points per game last weekend.

The Mountaineers are averaging 67.9 points per game (16th in the RMAC) while they are allowing 76.2 points per game. 

CSU-PUEBLO HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | SEASON STATS
The ThunderWolves open 2020 with a pair of wins at home last week, beating Colorado Christian 85-78 and Regis 78-74.

CSU-Pueblo has five players averaging double figures with David Simental leading the way at 17.2 points per game followed by Brandon McGhee (12.7), Tyson Gilbert (10.4), Bryce Sanchious (10.2) and Jaedon Bowles (10.2). McGhee leads the team in assists (4.2) and steals (1.1).

The ThunderWolves are fifth in the RMAC in scoring at 78.6 points per game while allowing 78.9 points per game (13th in the conference). They are fourth in field goal percentage (48.2).

NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | SEASON STATS
The Cowboys head into this weekend on a four-game winning streak after a pair of home wins last week - beating Regis 85-76 on Friday and Colorado Christian 102-81 on Saturday, the fifth time this season NMHU has reached the 100-point mark in 12 games.

The Cowboys lead the RMAC and are eighth in the NCAA in scoring at 95 points per game and lead the conference in scoring margin at plus-11.0 points. They also lead the RMAC in 3-pointers per game (10.6), 3-point attempts (338), free throws made (251), turnover margin (plus-3.3) and turnovers forced per game (17.2).

NMHU features two of the top three scorers in the conference in Sammy Barnes-Thompkins and Raquan Mitchell. Barnes-Thompkins leads the RMAC and is seven in the nation at 24.7 points per game while Mitchell is third in teh RMAC and 12th in the nation at 23.8 points per contest. They are also the top two in the conference in 3-pointers per game with Mitchell averaging 3.3 per game and Barnes-Thompkins at 3.0. Mitchell leads the RMAC in free throws attempted and made while Barnes-Thompkins leads the RMAC in the RMAC in steals per contest (2.3).
