GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado men's basketball team travels to the Denver area to take on Colorado Christian 7 p.m. Friday and Regis 5 p.m. Saturday.
The Mountaineers sit in 13th place in the RMAC at 4-9, three games out of the final RMAC Tournament spot with eight games to go.

Western Colorado dropped both games on the road last weekend, falling at Westminster on Friday 78-62 - getting a game-high 12 points from
Matthew Ragsdale - and losing at No. 23 Dixie State on Saturday 87-57 - with Ragsdale again leading the team with 14 points.
Ragsdale - a true freshman - has reached double figures in each of his last five games and is averaging 18.6 points per game over that stretch, tops on the Mountaineers. That includes going 23-for-42 (54.7 percent) from 3-point range in those contests. He's raised his season scoring average to 10.1 points per game - third on the team.
Cole Sienknecht leads the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game while
Jackson Ehrlin (who has missed the last four games due to injury) is at 10.9 points per game.
As a team, the Mountaineers are averaging 69.4 points per game (15th in the RMAC) while allowing 77.6 points per game (10th in the RMAC). WCU ranks fifth in 3-pointers per game (8.4) and leads the RMACÂ in free throw percentage (77.9 percent).
COLORADO CHRISTIAN HEADING INTO THIS WEEKÂ |Â SEASON STATS
The Cougars' losing streak extended to nine games after dropping a pair of games on the road last week - falling to Adams State 101-82 on Friday and losing to Fort Lewis 95-87 on Saturday.
The Cougars have four players averaging double figures with 6-foot-11 Spencer Hoffman at 13.7 points per game to go along with a team-best 6.0 rebounds. Hoffman had a season-high 30 points on 12-for-15 shooting on Friday against the Grizzlies. Jake Hornick is second on the team in scoring at 12.9 points per game to go along with 5.4 rebounds and a team-best 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Justin Engesser is third on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game is has hit a team-best 43 3-pointers (shooting 41.7 percent from beyond the arc).
CCU is averaging 72.5 points per game (13th in the RMAC) while allowing 85.4 points per game (last in the RMAC).
REGIS HEADING INTO THIS WEEKÂ |Â SEASON STATS
The Rangers split on the road last week, falling at Fort Lewis 80-79 on Saturday in a game it led for much of hte first 30 minutes of the contest before bouncing back to beat Adams State 99-94 thanks to 30 points (on 11-for-12 shooting) form Toni Rocak.
Christian Little leads the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game to go along with 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Rocak is second on the team at 15.4 points per game as the 6-foot-8 sophomore is shooting 53.5 percent from the field and leads the team at 6.4 rebounds per game. Brian Dawson is also averaging double figures in scoring at 11.6 points per game and is shooting 41.1 percent from 3-point range.
Regis is 11th in the RMAC in scoring at 74.9 points per game while allowing 73.1 points - eighth in the RMAC. The Rangers are second in the RMAC in forcing turnovers at 16.3 per game and are fourth in turnover margin at plus-1.58.
