Gunnison, Colo. --- Western Colorado swimming and diving is set to hosts Adams State on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with Senior Day starting at 11:55 p.m. This will be the final home meet of the season for the Mountaineers and the final meet in Paul Wright Natatorium for Western Colorado seniors.
Completing their final season for Western Colorado University will be seniors

Jocelyn Jo.Â
Â
Alex Johnson
The Laramie, Wyoming native competed at the RMAC Championships all four years of her career and set five personal bests at that meet alone last year. A business administration major with an emphasis in marketing and finance, and a minor in economics, Alex plans on becoming a certified financial planner. In Saturday's meet she will swim in the 200 medley relay, 200 IM, and 100 breast.Â
Jocelyn Jo
A South Pasadena, California native, Jocelyn transferred to Western Colorado for her junior and senior years. Last year, she swam the teams' fastest 50-yard breaststroke. Jocelyn is majoring in exercise sports science with an emphasis of k-12 physical education and a minor in sports psychology. After graduating, she plans to go back to California and take a gap year before she begins student teaching. In Saturday's meet she will swim in the 200 medley relay, 1,000 free, and 100 breast.
Mountaineers
The Mountaineers come into the meet ranked 48th in division two and sixth in the RMAC, two spots above the eighth ranked Grizzlies. They look to finish the season on a high note after back-to-back losses.
Â
Western Colorado has beat Adams State in both meetings this season (193-67,175.5-78.5), and looks to complete the sweep on Saturday.
Aside from the seniors, Mountaineers to watch will be
Lauren Sanders in the 500 free,
Jordyn Richey and Jo in the 100 breast, and
Rylee Denney in the 100 fly.Â
This is the final meet of the season before a two and a half week break as they prepare for the RMAC championships in Grand Junction, scheduled to take place Feb. 12-15.
