GUNNISON, Colo. – On Saturday in Paul Wright Gym, two Western State Colorado University women's basketball players will play their final game in Gunnison. Senior Night will begin just prior to the start of the 5 p.m. game against Adams State University on Saturday night.

The Mountaineers enter the weekend just two games removed from a significant win over Colorado Mesa University, Western returns to Paul Wright Gym against the second-ranked team in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. While
Katie Dalton continues to offer a consistent scoring presence for the Mountaineers with 10.3 points per game, Western has found crucial role players in recent weeks.

With five games remaining, the Mountaineers are tied for 11
th place in the RMAC standings. With five games remaining, the Mountaineers are still in the hunt for the eighth conference tournament spot. With Westminster College unable to compete in the RMAC Tournament, Western is 5.5 games out of the eighth spot. However, the Mountaineers will need to win the remaining games on their schedule.

Saturday, the Mountaineers face old rival ASU (5-14, 3-14 RMAC) at 5 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym.

th in the conference standings. ASU enters the weekend, having won their previous game against New Mexico Highlands University, 88-57.
