2018-2019: Started all 27 games for the Mountaineers, averaging 31.8 minutes/game. Shot 90 freethrows (73.3%) and led Western in steals with 69 (the next highest was 35). She averaged 8.4 points per game with 227 total points on the season. Gothard grabbed 163  total rebounds (6 rb/game). Her defensive efforts allowed her to be named RMAC Defensive Player of the Year as well as RMAC 2nd-Team All Conference honors.

2017-18: In her first season with the Mountaineers, Gothard played in all 28 games with 17 starts. Gothard led the Mountaineers in steals and was the second best statistical performer in the RMAC for total steals (59) and steals per game (2.1). Against St. Edwards, Gothard nearly recorded a double-double in points and steals with 10 and 9 respectively. Her nine steal effort is the second highest ever for Western in a single game. On the season, she averaged 7.2 points per game on 40% shooting. Gothard scored in double-digits eight times on the season including a season best 14 points on three separate occasions.
