GUNNISON, Colo. – On Saturday, Western Colorado University Women's Swimming and Diving will host the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers at 12 p.m. in the Paul Wright Gym Pool. It is the final home dual of 2018 for the Mountaineers before the final home meet of the season against Adams State University and the University of Nebraska – Kearney in January.
Fans attending Saturday's dual are encouraged to wear black to support the Mountaineers and blackout the Paul Wright Pool deck.
Saturday will be the fourth official competition of the season for the Mountaineer swimming. Western has split the previous two duals, defeating CSU-Pueblo and falling to No. 11 Colorado Mesa University.
The Orediggers enter the weekend having lost four duals so far this season.
One race to watch will be the 400-yard medley relay. Western has the second best mark in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference this season at 4:09.38, while CSM has the third best mark at 4:23.20.
