Â
For the second time in as many years Western hit a last-second shot in Alamosa. Last year Duggan hit a 40-foot buzz beater to win the game for Western by one, but this year it was
Collin Smith hitting the clutch trey to send the game to overtime. In OT Adam's Shane Johnson added to his game-high 29 points, sealing the win for the Grizzlies. The guard came off the bench for his 29 points, scoring 12 of 21 shots attempted. He was joined by Bryan Umoru who had a double-double of 24 points and 16 boards.
