GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Western State Colorado University swimming and diving team resumes competition this weekend with two duals in a home-away split.
On Friday, the Mountaineers head to Colorado Mesa University for a 3:00 p.m. dual before returning home to host Adams State in Paul Wright Natatorium on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Saturday's dual against Adams serves as Senior Day for the Mountaineers with a recognition before the first event.
At Colorado Mesa, Western duals the 12
th ranked team in the TYR Top 25 Division II Poll. The Mavericks moved up eight places in the rankings from their preseason position. In their last competition, Colorado Mesa defeated Western 180-81. In Friday's rematch, both teams will contest a 14-event program starting at 3:00 p.m.

Western returns home on Saturday to host the Grizzlies of Adams State in Senior Day Dual. Prior to the first race, Mountaineer Athletics will honor three Seniors,
Morgan Aragon,
Kate Hewson, and
Anna Kaiser.
A reminder to our fans, there will be a Western foam finger giveaway as well as a contest for the best sign.
With the first event slated for 10:00 a.m., the dual will be a 13-event program as follows:
