GUNNISON, Colo. – The Western State Colorado University men's and women's basketball teams return to Paul Wright Gym on Friday and Saturday when the Mountaineers host Chadron State College and Black Hills State in RMAC action.

The Mountaineer women (4-15, 3-12 RMAC) will begin both doubleheaders this weekend, facing CSC (6-13, 6-9 RMAC) on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and BHSU (11-8, 9-6 RMAC) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Forward
Jade McIntosh (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) leads the Mountaineers with 12.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for 13
th and 11
th in the RMAC, respectively.

Junior guard Emma Block leads the Eagles with 11.1 points per game while freshman forward Maka Daysh is the top rebounder for CSC with 4.7 boards per game in addition to averaging 9.7 points on the year.

For the Yellow Jackets, senior guard Chelsey Biegler paces the squad with 12.1 points per game for 16
th-best in the RMAC. Biegler also averages 2.1 steals to rank seventh in the conference.

The Western men (3-16, 2-13 RMAC) will face CSC (5-13, 4-11 RMAC) following the women's game Friday at 7:30 p.m. before taking on BHSU (7-15, 5-10 RMAC) on Saturday at the same time.

For the men, guard
Mason Biddle (Sr., Riverside, Calif.) leads Western with 18.1 points per game for seventh in the league, notching double digits in all but one game this season. Biddle also ranks in the top-10 in the league with 4.3 assists per game for sixth. Guard
Danny Hopkins (Jr., Riverside, Calif.) is also posting double figures each game with 12.8 points while averaging a team-best 4.9 rebounds per game. Forward
Devin Kastrup (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) is the third Mountaineer scoring in double digits with 10.6 points this season.

CSC is led by senior forward Kendrick Holliman, who is averaging 13.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this season. Senior guard Christopher Smith (12.0 ppg) and senior guard Evan Brooks (11.7 ppg) are also scoring in double figures for the Eagles.

Junior guard/forward Riley Ryan leads BHSU with 9.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest while senior guard Brody Brisk is not far behind with 9.6 points per game.
