GUNNISON, Colo. - Western State Colorado University women's swimming and diving team is currently the No.26-ranked program in the nation by collegeswimming.com following two huge defeats of CSU-Pueblo and Adams State University. The Mountaineers look to push into the top-25 this weekend when they travel to Colorado College in Colorado Springs Saturday.
The Mountaineers currently have 16 times in the USA Swimming data base which is lacking the Adams State meet results and the CSU-Pueblo relay results. With all the times included with altitude conversion, Western State would have 31 top-100 times, a dozen top-50, eight top-30, three top-20 and a pair of top-15 times.

Three of the four Mountaineer relays are in the top-20 of the nation. The 200 free relay is the lone relay outside the top-20 at 27
th led by Yarnell, Hewson, Aragon and Fitch. The 200 medley relay of Yarnell, Marsolek, Ginsburg and Hewson are currently 17
th in the nation. The 400 medley relay of Yarnell, Marsolek, King and Aragon are the first to crack the top-15 at 14
th. The 400 free relay of Hewson, Yarnell, Fitch and Aragon tops out the list at 12
th.
Western State hosts its first home dual against the No.23-ranked Colorado Mesa Friday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. The meet is free to the public and people in attendance will get free admission into the volleyball match later that evening at 7 p.m.
