GUNNISON, Colo. - The Western State Colorado University women's swimming and diving program will compete for the first time in 2015 this Saturday. The Mountaineers will host rival Adams State University at 12 p.m. in the Paul Wright Gym Natatorium.
Western is coming off their annual winter training trip after a fast start to the 2014-15 season. The Mountaineers won 4-of-6 dual meets to begin the season and placed fifth out of nine teams at the Colorado Mesa Invite in early December.
Saturday will be the second to last meet before the Mountaineers compete at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships on Feb. 11.
ASU has won all five dual meets this season and are coming off a 116-86 victory over Colorado School of Mines on Monday. The Grizzlies defeated Western in the first dual of the season, 122-83.
Results from Saturday's final home dual of the season will be posted on www.GoMountaineers.com following the conclusion of Saturday's meet.
