GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Western State Colorado University volleyball played their final match on the road Saturday night. The Mountaineers went head to head with the No. 14 Colorado Mesa University Mavericks. Unfortunately for the Mountaineers, CMU took all three sets, winning match 3-0.
Western (0-18, 0-14 RMAC) played tough in the first set against CMU (20-3, 13-1 RMAC). However, in front of the home fans, the Mavericks took the first set 25-18.
The Mavericks would win the following two sets 25-14 and 25-15.

Jordan Eatwell (Fr., Fruita, Colorado) led the team in kills with 10, while teammate
Allison Walker (So., Aurora, Colorado) led the team in assists with 19.
The Mountaineers return to Gunnison for the final four matches of the season, beginning with CSU-Pueblo on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym.
