Colton Reinholtz begins his fourth season at Western in 2018, and first after being named Associate Head Coach.
Reinholtz was an assistant coach at Western for two seasons from 2014-15. He helped the Mountaineers make the RMAC Tournament for the first time since 2003.
During the 2016 season, Reinholtz was an assistant coach at Saint Francis University.
Reinholtz comes to Western after serving as an assistant coach on the Hofstra University staff in 2013. Responsible for video editing, film exchange, scouting, coaching defense, liberos, middle blockers, as well as serve and receive responsibilities, Reinholtz brings a wealth of knowledge to the Mountaineer volleyball program.
Prior to Hofstra, Reinholtz was a coach for Club V Volleyball, where he assisted in running camps and teaching skills in a step-by-step progression.
Reinholtz also has coaching experience at Utah State University, the Mountain West Volleyball Club and Brighton High School. Along with giving instruction at all of these locations, Reinholtz ran practices and helped in the recruiting process.
Reinholtz received his bachelor's degree in parks, recreation and tourism with an emphasis in community recreation and sports management from the University of Utah in 2013.Â
