Maximiliano Kittsteiner

    Graduate Assistant Sports Performance

Maximiliano joined the Western Colorado Sports Performance staff in August 2024 as a Graduate Assistant, working toward his master's in exercise & sport science: high altitude exercise physiology. He will also compete for Western as a track and field athlete (pole vault/multi).

Previously competing for Southeastern (Fla.) University, he has achieved many accolades in both pole vault and the decathlon (including but not limited to 2022 Indoor NAIA Pole Vault All-American, 4x NAIA National Qualifier, 2022 Indoor Pole Vault and 2023 Outdoor Decathlon Sun Conference Champion, and School Record Holder for Pole Vault and Heptathlon).

He received his bachelor's from Southeastern in kinesiology/exercise science with a minor in sports management.  Maximiliano has previously worked as a high school pole vault coach, producing two decorated athletes and collegiate commits from his programming. He is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and USATF Level 1 Coach.
