Outdoor (Redshirted): Season canceled due to Covid-19.
Indoor (R-Sophomore): Max raced in four indoor meets during the 2019-20 season, running three 5,000m races and once 3,000m race where he ran a personal best of 9:27.96.
3,000m - 9:27.96 PR - Western Colorado Alumni Open - 4th
XC (R-Sophomore): Sawyer raced in six cross country meets in the 2019 season, ending his season racing at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships where he ran a 10k personal best and was a part of Western Colorado's seventh place men's team. He also finished 22nd at the RMAC Conference meet, where he ran a personal best in the 8k, and ran a personal best in the 5k at the Wyoming Invite.
