Personal: Majoring in communication arts with a minor in sports psychology … daughter of Jack Trahan and Kristy Diaz-Trahan … father initially played football at the University of Arizona before transitioning to the track & field team, and mother Kristy played volleyball and basketball at Grand Canyon University … Katrina broke the school record for the discus at Canyon Del Oro HS, and won the school's Live Like Lizo award for track.
