2019-20:
Outdoor (Redshirted): Season canceled due to Covid-19.
Indoor (R-Junior): Mayo raced in seven indoor meets during the 2019-20 season and was scheduled to race at the National meet before the meet was canceled due to Covid-19. Gage set two personal bests during the season in the mile and 3,000m. Despite the cancelation of the NCAA DII Championships, Mayo was awarded All-American Honors for the 800m and DMR.

3,000m - 9:07.53 PR - Western Colorado Open - 4th
XC (R-Junior): Mayo raced in seven cross country meets in the 2019 season, ending his season racing at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships where he ran a 10k personal best and was a part of Western Colorado's seventh place men's team. He also finished 29th at the RMAC Conference meet, where he ran a personal best in the 8k.

2018-19:
Outdoor (R-Sophomore): Ran personal bests in the 800 meter and 1,500 meter... Started the season with a first place finish at the CSU Purblo Early Bird in the 800 meter...Placed 8th in the finals at the Outdoor RMAC Championships
Indoor (R-Sophomore): Competed in the 800m, mile,  4x400 relay and DMR. Competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships and the RMAC Championships.

XC (R-Sophomore): Earned All-Academic honor roll...Raced in four meets in the 2018 XC season...Ran a PR of 27:02.1 in the 8k at the Roadrunners Invitational.

2017-18: 
Outdoor (R-Freshman): Set three PR's throughout the season, in the 1500m (4:06) at CSU-Pueblo Early Bird meet, in the 3000m steeplechase (10:12) at the CSU Pueblo Spank Blasing Invite, and in the 400H (57.19) at the Western/GHS Combined Invite...Finished 13th at RMAC in the steeplechase.
Indoor (R-Freshman): Ran a PR in the Mile (4:37) at the Colorado Invitational...Ran a PR in the 800m (1:57) at the Western Alumni Open...Placed 15th at RMAC in the 800m.
XC (R-Freshman): Ran in two races, PR in the 5k (16:19) at CSU - Duals D2 Combined, and PR in the 8k (27:59) at Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite.

2016-17:

High School: Runner-Up in 800m at 3A State Track & Field Championships (2016)... All-State Selection in Track 2016...Two-Time Academic All-State in Cross Country...School Record Holder in 800m and 3,200m at La Junta High School
