Outdoor (Redshirted): Season canceled due to Covid-19.
Indoor: Sutherland earned All-American Honors as he qualified for the NCAA DII Indoor Track and Field Championships in the mile and DRM, despite the cancelation of the national championships. He also ran a personal best in the 3,000m at the Western Colorado Open.Â

XC:Â Sutherland raced in five cross country meets in the 2019 season, ending his season racing at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships where he ran a personal best in the 10k and was a part of Western Colorado's seventh place men's team. He also finished 14th at the NCAA DII South Central Regional Championships.Â

Outdoor:Redshirt season
Indoor: Ran a PR in the Mile (4:21) at the Colorado Invitational...At ASU NCAA Qualifier ran a PR in the 800m (1:58)...At RMAC placed 17th in the 800m and was part of the 4th place DMR team.
Prior to Western:Competed in Track & Field at Clackamas Community College with PRs of 1:58Â 800m, 4:07 1,500m, and 10:00 Steeplechase
High School:Competed in Cross Country, Track & Field, and Wrestling at Ilwaco High School...All-State (15th) in CC...Academic State Champion in wrestling
Personal: Son of Garnette and Thomas...Has two brothers, Owen and Corbin.
