Riley Huffman starts his third year as an assistant coach for cross country and distance track and field in 2021-22.
Huffman came to Western after finishing up his collegiate running career at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
Throughout the 2014-17 seasons, Huffman competed on the Blugold cross country team that finished seventh (2014), first (2015), third (2016), and seventh (2017) at the NCAA Division III National Championships. He received all-conference, all-regional and all-academic honors in the 2016 and 2017 cross country seasons.
He has also gained coaching experience from working at the UW - Eau Claire High School running camp and the Oshkosh North High School youth track camp while also working as a Lifetime Fitness personal trainer.
Huffman started his master's program at Western in the Fall of 2019.
