Biography

2018-19: Earned First Team All-Academic Honor...All-American with a 19th place finish at NCAA National Championships as part of the 3rd place women's team...With two 6th place finishes at RMAC's and Regionals.

2017-18: Earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championships with a 7th place (21:07.4) finish as the top freshman in the field, finished 4th at the NCAA South Central Region Championships, earned RMAC Freshman of the Year with an 8th place finish at the RMAC Championships.
Outdoor: At the Beach Invitational ran a PR in the 1500m (4:29) placing 9th...Ran in three events at RMAC, part of the second place 4x400m team, took 1st in the 3000s, and won second in the 800m final, set a PR in the 800m prelims (2:12.55)...At NCAA took 4th overall in the 3000s with a PR of 10:01.
Indoor: Ran a PR in the 3000m (9:27) at the Husky Classic... Set a PR in the mile (5:05) at the Western Alumni Open placing 2nd...Finished 2nd in the mile at RMAC...At NCAA finished 3rd in the 3000m (9:30) and was part of the National Championship DMR team (11:19).

High School: 9th place at World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland...Polish 3,000m Steeplechase Champion and runner-up at 1,500m...9th place 2,000m Steeplechase Youth Olympic Games in China...Daughter of Marek and Malgorzata Konieczek... Brother and Sister Dawid and Alicja also compete for the Mountaineers.

Why did you choose Western? I chose to run at Western for the opportunity to compete with my sister and brother and carry on the Konieczek legacy at Western.
