2011:(Otero JC) Played in 18 games for Otero Junior College last season as a reserve player and earned NJCAA All-Region academic honors.

Gateway HS: Helped lead the Olympians in 2009 to the Class 5A state quarterfinals. Berling was an All-City selection by the Aurora Sentinel in his senior season and an honor roll student at Gateway.
