2009: ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team Selection, becoming the first Mountaineer to earn the honor since 1998 ... became the fifth Mountaineer in school history, and the first from the football program, to earn a mention in the Faces in the Crowd section of “Sports Illustrated”, mentioned in the Oct. 19 issue ... D2Football.com Co-Offensive Player of the Week and RMAC/Rawlings Offensive Player of the Week after recording 481 yards of total offense against Western New Mexico  (9/26) ... went seven straight starts without an interception, and nearly went eight after throwing an interception on his last attempt against Mesa State (10/17) ... also led the team in rushing with 673 yards on 179 carries ... posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing games against Western New Mexico (9/26) and Fort Lewis (10/3) ... fourth in the conference in total offense, seventh in rushing, sixth in pass efficiency and eighth in passing ... RMAC All-Academic First Team selection ... Western State’s RMAC Scholar-Athlete recipient ... finished the season in program records for rushing attempts (9th - 179), passing completion (T-9th - 54.0%) and total offense (6th - 2,395)

2008: Completed three-of-five passes in the season-opener against Emporia State (8/30) ...  also made an appearance late in the contest against Colorado School of Mines (10/11)

Ranum HS: Two-time honorable mention all-state football player ... named to All-SkylineLeague team once ... set program and conference records with 6,502 passing yards and 67  touchowns ... three-year starter and four-year letterwinner ... led team to 2004 state playoffs ... three-time all-conference sprinter in track ... finished ninth at state track meet in 4x100-meter relay as a senior ... three-year letterwinner in basketball ... name team’s defensive player of the year ... led the Raiders to the 2007 state playoffs ... member of National Honor Society ... named Raider Scholar by maintaining a 3.8 grade point average each semester ... earned multiple academic all-state honors ... named CU Outstanding Junior, Senior Scholar-Athlete and Broncos High School Hero
