2015 (Senior): Recorded a career high three tackles against Angelo State on Sept. 12, 2015…McConnell started as a fullback but was converted to a linebacker for his senior season.

2014 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in two games, starting both at the linebacker position...Recorded two tackles in Western's Colorado Classic win over Adams State.

2013 (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in four games at the fullback position...Recorded two rushes for six yards, one reception for nine yards and one kick return for 18 yards.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in five games at the fullback position...Recorded two catches for 18 yards and one kick return for 11 yards.

2011 (Freshman): Redshirted.
