2019-20 (R-Senior): Appeared in all 28 games, starting 20 of them and averaging 22.7 minutes/game...Shot 35.4% (23/65) from 3 point range and 89.1% (41/46) from the free throw line...Averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

2018-19 (R-Junior): Played in all 28 games for the Mountaineers, starting 20 of them. Shot 36.4% from behind the arc (36-99) and averaged 1.3 assists/game. Recorded 16 steals, 213 points (7.6/game) and 70 rebounds. Had a game high 5 assists vs. UT-Permian Basin and 28 points vs. Regis.

2017-18 (Redshirted): Utilized redshirt

2016-17 (Sophomore): Played in all 26 games for the Mountaineers, with 383 minutes of court time...Shooting 15 of 30 from behind the three pointer, James lead the team in three pointer percentage...With a total of 126 points averaging 4.8 points per game. 

2015-16 (Freshman): Saw action in all 28 games this season, averaging more than 15 minutes a game as the back-up point guard … Scored a career-best 13 points against Webber International (11/28/15) … Also had a dozen points against Fort Lewis (12/19/15) … Scored 70 points and had 34 assists and 45 boards.

High School: Was a four-year starting point guard at Lutheran High School in Parker, Colorado, for coach Ryan Bredow… A Class 3A All-State First Team pick in 2014-15 by The Denver Post … Helped the Lions to the Class 3A final four and a 21-6 record in 2014-15 … Averaged 12 points, four rebounds and three assists as a junior for Class 2A All-State Second Team honors from The Denver Post… Named an all-state honorable mention selection by The Denver Post as a sophomore … Also was the starting quarterback for Lutheran, throwing for 25 touchdowns to lead the team to a 10-1 record in 2014 … Carried a 4.2 GPA in high school … Played with fellow Western teammate James Thomas.
