2021 (Redshirt Senior): Played in five out of the 11 games for the Mavericks ... Recorded six tackles, four being assist ... Also had one QB hit. 

2020 (Redshirt Junior): Played in all three games during the COVID shortened season.

2019 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in nine games...Finished the season with nine tackles and a blocked kick...Had a season-high four tackles against Eastern New Mexico in the home opener on September 14...HIs blocked kick occurred in that game as well.

2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in seven games...Finished the season with six total tackles...Had a season-high two tackles in two different games, one against Adams State on November 3 and the other against New Mexico Highlands on November 10...Had a forced fumble against Adams State.

2017 (Freshman): Redshirt

High School: Earned second-team all-county, all-district honorable mention and academic all-region and all-state honors.

Personal: Parents are Jim and Sonia Nimtz. Has two older brothers. Brother Eric was member of football and track teams. Enjoys the outdoor activities.
