2018 (Sophomore): Played in all 11 games at the quarterback position…Led the team in completions, attempts, passing yards, passing touchdowns and passing yards per game…Completed 144 of 271 passing attempts for 1,389 yards and 12 touchdowns to average 126.27 passing yards per game, while only throwing nine interceptions…Recorded over 200 yards in two games, including a season high 247 yards against Fort Lewis College…Jacob also threw for a career high four touchdowns against FLC…Second on the team in rushing yards gained with 220…Ranked ninth in the conference for total passing yards and average passing yards per game…Fourth in the RMAC with only nine interceptions on the season…Seventh in the conference for completion percentage.
 
2017 (Freshman): As a true freshman, played in seven games at quarterback…Led the team in completions, completion percentage, yards passing, passing touchdowns and passing yards per game…Completed 111 of his 207 attempts, throwing just 10 interceptions on the season…Threw for 1,046 yards and five touchdowns…Threw for a career high 252 yards and a season high two touchdowns against Colorado Mesa in the season opener…Recorded 200 yards or more passing in three games…Also gained 170 yards on the ground, scoring two rushing touchdowns…Ran for a season high 30 yards against Colorado Mesa.

High School: Played quarterback and punter at Green Mountain High School...Three-time All-Conference selection as a quarterback...Threw for 3,972 yards and 24 touchdowns in his career...Also participated in baseball, basketball and swimming...Three-time state qualifier in swimming in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle...All-Conference selection in swimming, setting three school records...Helped Green Mountain baseball earn two 4A State Championship titles...Two-year starter on the basketball team...Five-time First Team Academic All-State selection...Seven-time Gold Distinguished Honor Roll selection...Member of the National Honor Society...Parents are Erika and Kirk Jacob...Has one brother, Brandon.
