Quad Sanders enters his first year with the Mountaineer football program in 2014.
Prior to coming to Western, Sanders was the defensive line and special teams coordinator at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas from 2012 through the 2013 season. Sanders was responsible for the defensive line, breaking down the run and pass game, to go along with all special teams and schemes. Along with recruiting duties, Sanders was the academic liaison for the football team.
For the two years leading up to his position at McPherson, Sanders was a graduate assistant at the University of Central Arkansas. During his time at Central Arkansas, Sanders helped coach the defensive line, was the offensive and special teams scout coach and developed and implemented kick-off coverage plans.
Sanders graduated with a B.S. in health education from Central Arkansas in 2009 after playing football for Bears for two seasons, to go along with a year of track and field and a year of men's basketball.
