Isaiah Jackson is beginning his third season as the defensive backs coach for the Mountaineers in 2021.
Jackson is a Western alum who played for the Mountaineers for two seasons (2015 and 2016). He was named Second Team All-RMAC in 2016 (he was second in the RMAC in passes defended with 14 to go along with 38 tackles and an interception)Â and honorable mention in 2015.
Jackson was then invited and attended the Buffalo Bills rooking mini camp in 2017 (he also received interest from other teams before returning to his home state of California.
Jackson worked at a variety of academies in California for football and track - including the Mamba Sports Academy - before returning to Western to begin his coaching career.Â
Jackson graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2020.
