Coach Daniels joined the Mountaineer staff in the summer of 2023.
Most recently served as a graduate assistant at Michigan Tech (March-July 2023) where he primarily worked with hybrid linebackers and assisted in coaching the defensive backs.
From April 2022 through March 2023 he was the d-backs coach at Oak Ridge (Tenn.) High School, guiding three players to all-region recognition during Oak Ridge's run into the third round of the state playoffs.
Daniels played at Colorado Mesa University from 2016-19, playing a role in two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship teams. He earned a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice from CMU, and went on to earn a Master's in sports leadership from Adams State University.
Originally from Jersey City, New Jersey, Daniels graduated from Grandview High School in Aurora, Colorado, in 2015.
