Aarrhon Flores joins the Mountaineer football staff in 2014. Flores will be the primary receivers coach for Western State.
Prior to joining the Western staff, Flores was a part of the West Texas A&M University receiving core from 2009-2012. Team captain in 2012, Flores helped lead the Buffs to two Lone Star Conference (LSC) Championships in 2009 and 2012. West Texas A&M also made it to the NCAA Division II quarterfinals in 2012.
Along with winning two conference championships, Flores helped lead the Buffs to Kanza Bowl Championships in 2009 and 2011.
From February 2014 - June 2014, Flores taught at Ed Irons Jr. High School where he also coached football and track and field.
Flores graduated from West Texas A&M University with a B.S. in sport and exercise science in 2013.
