Western Colorado University Athletics

High School: Avery comes to Western from Jefferson Academy, where she was a two-sport student for her high school career. She broke 5 school records in track, including the 200, 4x100, 4x200 and sprint medley and gained the award for student athlete of the year during her senior year. Even outside of athletics, Rebecka excelled by acceptance into the National Honors Society and Honor Role every year. When asked why she chose Western she said emphasized her confidence in both the academic faculty and the coaching staff.
