2014 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in two contests for the Mountaineers, making one solo tackle in a win over Black Hills State … RMAC Academic Honor Roll selection.

2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in four games with one start on the season … Recorded five tackles, four coming against Chadron State.

Prior to Western: Redshirted the 2012 season at the University of Wyoming.

High School: A three-year letterwinner in football for Fort Collins High School … Was a two-time all-conference selection in football, and tallied seven rushing TDs and 135 tackles in his senior season … Earned Academic All-State accolades all four seasons … Also played lacrosse … Son of Lee and Dawn Swanbom … Has one sibling, Hannah, who played soccer at Iowa State for one season.
