2013 (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in 10 games with five starts on the season … Ranked fourth on the squad with 56 tackles and 8.5 tackles for loss … Third on the team with two forced fumbles … Fifth for the Mountaineers with 2.5 sacks and sixth with 32 solo stops … Posted a season-high 10 tackles (5 solo) in a win over New Mexico Highlands … Recorded a season-best seven solo tackles against Adams State … Also had three tackles for loss and a forced fumble against the Grizzlies.

High School: Was a two-time all-state honorable mention linebacker as a junior and senior for coach Justin Carpenter at Fort Lupton High School … All-conference selection from 2007-09 ... Tri-Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009 ... Led the state back-to-back years in tackles in 2007 and 2008 ... Finished with 454 tackles in his final three seasons ... Also rushed for 713 yards and averaged 5.2 per carry in 2009 ... Went 8-of-21 in passing as a senior ... Earned all-conference honors in baseball in 2009 ... Member of DECA ...
