COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) on Tuesday announced the final standings of its 2025-26 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Cup, showing Western Colorado's student-athletes earning second place in those standings, just 100 points shy of repeat winner Regis University.

The official release states that the SAAC Cup was established in the 2015-16 academic year, and "is presented to the institutional SAAC whose student-athlete cohorts accrue the most points over two different initiatives during the academic year: the average number of community service hours per student-athlete and total funds raised to support local causes and charities during the academic year."

Mountaineer student-athletes accumulated 2,600 of a possible 3,000 points in earning its runner-up position behind Regis' 2,700 points. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs finished with 2,400 points to claim third place in the final standings.

In total, RMAC student-athletes provided nearly 23,000 volunteer hours over the 2025-26 year. Regis' first-place finish is the Rangers' fourth consecutive SAAC Cup top institution finish.
