League Announces All-RMAC Swim & Dive Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  The official All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's swimming & diving team was announced by the league office Thursday afternoon and the list includes a pair of Western Colorado relays and one swimmer and one diver from the Mountaineer's squad.

The RMAC designates those that finish first and second in individual events and relays at the RMAC championship meet as first-team all-conference honorees, and those that finish in third and fourth place as second-team awardees.

Diver Chloe Brown had the highest finish at the meet for Western Colorado, earning second-team All-RMAC honors with a third-place finish in the 1-meter diving event. She added another All-RMAC award with a fourth-place finish on the 3-meter board.

Western's other individual to earn a second-team all-conference honor was Leah Wagner who placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The 200 medley relay foursome of LynDea Turner, Trinity Caudle, Joanna Swiderska and Makenna Lambert earned a second-team honor with their fourth-place finish.

And with a fourth-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay, the team of Morgan Nielsen, Madi Zach, Swiderska and Lambert earned Western's other second-team relay all-conference award.

The conference also released its major awards from the championship meet and the season:
  • Swimmer of the Year: Tori Meklensek (Simon Fraser University)
  • Diver of the Year: Kenya Meyer (Colorado Mesa University)
  • Freshman of the Year: Kendyll Wilkinson (Colorado Mesa)
  • Coach of the Year: Semone Tissira (Simon Fraser)
  • Swimmer of the RMAC Meet: Meklensek
  • Diver of the RMAC Meet: Meyer
The conference on Friday will announce its 2025 All-Academic RMAC First Team and Honor Roll.
