COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Friday, November 21, announced its 2025 All-RMAC Football Team and major award winners, a list that started with Western Colorado's
Drew Nash honored as the Offensive Player of the Year.
Nash – whose 74 career touchdown passes took over the top spot in that category within the program's record book – earned player of the year and first-team quarterback honors after throwing for 2,641 yards and 30 touchdowns through the air, while adding 10 touchdowns with his legs.
His 30 TD passes are tied for sixth most in NCAA Division II stats. Nash is fourth nationally in total points responsible for (240) and second in DII in points responsible for per game (24.0). The Mountaineers' field general has guided the offense to an average of 310 yards per game, the seventh highest figure in DII.
This is the second consecutive season in which Nash has been named the All-RMAC first-team quarterback.
Joining Nash on the All-RMAC first team are offensive lineman
Zach Brumfield, defensive ends
Ricky Freymond and
Drew Johnson, and linebackers
Ian Loomis and
Cameron Cooper. Freymond was the 2024 RMAC defensive player of the year and Cooper was the 2024 RMAC defensive freshman of the year.
Second team All-RMAC selections include wide receiver
Caden Measner, offensive lineman
Kasen James, defensive tackle
Mikey Smith, and linebacker
Kaden Stewart.
Honorable mention selections include wide receiver
DJ Allen Jr., tight ends
Kai Goetze and
Daniel Parsek, offensive linemen
Chance Wiening,
Taylor Nichols and
Joseph Shepardson, cornerback
Logan White, and punt returner
Easton Peterson.
Coaches from each team submit nominations and vote for the all-conference teams. Those players earning honorable mention must have received at least one first-team vote or two second-team votes.
Nash and company are in Ellensburg, Washington, where they will play in the opening round of the NCAA DII playoffs for the third consecutive season and fourth in five years.
Fifteenth-ranked Western will play Saturday at 2 p.m. MT at host and fifth-ranked Central Washington University, the Mountaineers' opening round opponent for the third straight year.
