HAPPENED
- The Mountaineers took a smooth 5-1 edge to begin the match. ASU answered back then grabbed the lead 6-5. The next few points created ties and swapped lead changes. WCU was able to gain a small lead 16-13, but the Grizzlies replied with another tie and lead change. ASU pushed their lead 21-18. Western snuck in a few more points but Adams State secured the victory 25-20.
- The Grizzlies kept their momentum going in set two. WCU struck first, going up 3-0. ASU created a draw, won, then went on a scoring run to push past WCU 18-8. The Mountaineers put up two more compared to Adams' five 23-10. Western put power behind their shots but ASU's defensive saves turned into offensive points and a set two win 25-10.
- Set three began with an ASU advantage 3-0. WCU added two kills, by sophomore Kyra Kidd and senior Seyun Park, but the Grizzlies went up 7-2. The Mountaineers fought back and got within two 9-7. Shortly after, the Mountaineers tied the game and secured their first lead of the set 11-10. ASU was in a groove, never letting up their lead, taking set three 25-19 and the match 3-0.

- Kidd and junior Oliver Rolseth paved the way with 8 kills each. Park was right behind them with 5. Rolseth also contributed 2 aces and 8 digs.
- Senior Nur Turkmenoglu recorded 22 assists, 5 digs and 2 kills.
- Sophomore Chinaru Inoue lead in digs with 12.
