  • The Mountaineers picked up a big win on the previous Friday, downing visiting Regis University, 3-2, for just the second time in program history. The first win came just last year in a 3-2 win at Regis.
  • Jordan Welsh provided bookend goals to the two wins. She netted her first career goal last year with the first goal of the game, and this year scored the game-winning goal, also a career first.
