GUNNISON, Colo. Looking to climb up the standings in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Western Colorado soccer will host Regis University and Black Hills State University on Friday and Sunday, respectively, as the Mountaineers vie for points to move up into a postseason tournament position.
WESTERN COLORADO HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2024 Stats
- At 2-3-2 in the conference, Western (3-7-3 overall) has 8 points in the standings, one point behind eighth-place UC Colorado Springs. The top eight teams in the final regular season standings qualify for the RMAC tournament.
- The Mountaineers defeated host Regis last year, 3-2, for the first time in program history, scoring more than one goal against the Rangers for the first time since 2013.

- The bulk of Regis' total of 18 goals this season have come from Madeline Gardner and Natalie Bunch. Gardner has netted five goals and two game-winners, while Bunch has four goals.
