The Cougars did not give up the lead in the first set as they led the Mountaineers as large as eight points early on. Maggie Olson, Seyun Park and Miya Alvarado each recorded a pair of kills for the Mountaineers in the first game.

Western Colorado took an early lead in the second set as Park registered three more kills for her squad, but the Cougars battled back and took the second set.

The Mountaineers started the third set down by seven at one point but battled throughout and came within three in the middle of the set. Park and Olson combined for five kills throughout the set.
