GUNNISON, Colo. Head women's soccer coach
Amanda Raso has added
Lior Lipman to her staff entering the 2023 Western Colorado season.

Lior Lipman, a compassionate and competitive coach with a wealth of experience working with diverse female athletes of varying skill levels, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds," said Raso. "Lior holds a US Soccer National B License and is working on his UEFA B. He also has a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Sport and Athletic Management."
Professional Experience:
- LA Breakers – Girls and Boys Head Coach (Aug. 2022 – Present): Lior is responsible for creating practice plans and managing matches for ECRL 04/05 Girls and Flight 2 Boys 09. He maintains efficient communication with parents about practices, matches, and important information.
- Granada Hills Charter High School – Varsity Girls Assistant Coach (Oct. 2018 — June 2023): As an assistant coach, Lior contributed to training the varsity program and analyzing match footage with the team. He also acted as a liaison between the head coach and student-athletes of the varsity program.
- Los Angeles City College – Women's Head Coach (March 2020 — Dec. 2022): Lior successfully managed training sessions, matches, program budget, and team schedule while recruiting prospective student-athletes.
- Santa Monica College (SMC) – Women's Assistant Coach (2020): Lior led practice and match warmups, providing tactical advice to the head coach, and organized transportation and post-match meals for away matches.

- Doctoral of Education in Sports and Athletic Management from National University, Scottsdale, Ariz. (Present)
- Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine, Calif. (2020)
- Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash. (2011)
Certifications & Skills:
- Lior holds various coaching licenses, including US Soccer National B License, Cal South C License, Cal South D License, and Cal South E License. He is also CPR and First Aid certified.
- Fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish, Lior possesses strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
Accomplishments:
- Lior played a pivotal role in leading SMC to its first two regular-season conference championships in 2017 and 2018.
- He contributed significantly to Granada High School's CIF Division 1 LA City Section Championships in the 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 seasons.
- Lior proudly earned the GU19 Simi Valley Classic Tournament Champions title in 2019 and the G2009 Temecula Wine Country Classic Champions title in 2021.
