O’Donnell Leads 9 Mountaineers Earning RMAC All-Academic Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon announced its 2022-23 RMAC Women's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team, a list that includes Addison O'Donnell as a first-team All-Academic selection and eight of her Western Colorado teammates on the Honor Roll.

To qualify for consideration to the all-academic team, student-athletes must have used a season of competition in 2022-23, must have been a student at the institution for two consecutive semesters, and must carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.30 from the most recently completed term. First-team nominees must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.

O'Donnell recently competed in her final RMAC championship meet, earning a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, a 10th in the 200 freestyle, 13th in the 50 free and a 14th in the 100 free.

She also anchored fourth-place 400 and 800 free relays and swam the breaststroke leg on the fourth-place 400 medley relay.

Western's Honor Roll recipients are as follows: This is O'Donnell's initial first-team all-academic award after honor roll inclusion in 2021 and 2022, and the second honor roll awards for Fellows, Grebe, Jauch and Maurello.
