GUNNISON, Colo. Western Colorado opens its conference schedule on Friday, December 1 at 7 p.m. against Adams State, followed by a match up with No. 20 Fort Lewis on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.
Throughout the first half of Friday's game, Western's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will have a 50/50 raffle and the winner of the raffle will be announced during halftime.
The Mountaineers are looking for revenge after taking two losses to both the Grizzlies and Skyhawks last season.

Destan Williams leads the scoring efforts for Adams State with an average of 16.8 points per game and 17 assists this season. Williams has also tallied two steals and 14 rebounds, averaging 2.3 rebounds per game.

Austin Fadal has averaged 10.7 points per game this season, while contributing 11 steals, 18 assists and 29 rebounds, for 4.8 rebounds per game. Fadal has been dominant from the free throw line with a 60.9-percent from the charity stripe.

Fort Lewis comes in this weekend ranked No. 20 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 poll and a 4-1 record. The Skyhawks' only loss of the season came on Nov. 10 against Angelo State in the South Central Regional Crossover. As a team, Fort Lewis has averaged 77.6 points per game.

Obi Agbim has started in all five games for the Skyhawks this season and has averaged 16.8 points per game with a 44.2-clip from the field. Sekou Dembele leads the Skyhawks with a 56.5-percent shooting from the field with an average of 6.6 points per game.

Brayden Carter leads Fort Lewis' rebounding efforts averaging 8.2 rebounds per game and collecting 24 total defensive boards this season. The junior also has five steals on the season and nine blocks.
