Espanola, N.M Western Colorado will head to Espanola, N.M., to take on Northern New Mexico College on Saturday, November 25 for their final non-conference game before opening RMAC play next weekend. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday.  

MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2023 Stats 

• The Mountaineers are coming off a home stand where they found their first win of the season against Eastern New Mexico 64-58.  

• Rachel Cockman was named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after the junior scored 20 points in both games last weekend. Cockman leads the conference in points per game (19.3) and is fifth in the RMAC in field goal percentage (47.3). Defensively, she is second in the league with 10.5 rebounds per game.  

• Jayda Maves is averaging 10 points per game for the Mountaineers, which is second on the team while recording 11 defensive rebounds for the squad. Natalie Jojola leads the team in field goal percentage (47.8).  

EAGLES HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2023 Stats  

• The Eagles head into this weekend's contest with a 4-3 record and are coming off a loss to University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.  

• NNMC is averaging 53.3 points per game with a 36.7 percent shooting from the field and a 24.8 clip from three-point range.  

• Ruth Sodipe started in five games for the Eagles and shot 50 percent from the field while collecting 9.4 points per game. Isabell West leads her team in rebounds with 11 and registering four blocks.

 The Mountaineers will begin conference play at home with games against Adams State and Fort Lewis on Dec.1 and Dec. 2, respectively. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.
