Western Colorado leads the RMAC in 15 categories are ranked in the nation's top-10 in five, including third in team passing efficiency defense (84.62), fourth in turnover margin (1.67), fifth in turnovers gained (16) sixth in blocked punts with three and eighth in time of possession per game (33:45).Ā Ā

The offense, which is led by quarterback Drew Nash is averaging 35.67 points per game. Nash is coming off a great start against the Hardrockers where he threw for 245 yards and rushed for a season-high 107 yards.Ā Ā

Tony Cass had a dominant showing against the Hardrockers as well, leading the defense with two interceptions, including returning one for a touchdown. The Mountaineers defense had four interceptions last weekend, forcing six turnovers for the Hardrockers.Ā Ā
