GUNNISON, Colo. 48 runners toed the line on Saturday, (Oct. 8) for Mountaineer athletics six annual Mountaineer homecoming 5k.

Laura Puckett Daniels was the first person to finish (24:15) and was the top placer for the women. Crossing the finish line next was Devon Gomez (25:00), top placer for the men. The top finishers for the boys and girls, was Zayne Benson (27:47) and Fin Pipher (28:20).

All proceeds from the event go to supporting the Mountaineer Athletic Association.
