GUNNISON, Colo.  Western Colorado athletics is set to host the 21st Annual Sam Boyd Crab & Steak Feed Dinner and Auction, this 2024 gala fundraiser slated for April 6 in the Mountaineer Field House.

The annual gathering, sponsored again this spring by Lacy Construction and United Companies, directly supports scholarship needs for Western student-athletes and is the largest annual single fundraising event for Mountaineer athletics.

The supporters in attendance enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of Pacific Dungeness crab, steak (provided by Great Range Bison), pasta, salad, desserts and beverages, provided by High Country Beverage.

Doors open at 4 p.m. on the event day, initiating the night's festivities with a silent auction, card games, ticket games and, of course, a social hour.

Dinner begins at 5 p.m. with the live auction starting at 6 p.m.
