COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Thursday announced its awards for Swimmer and Diver of the Week, naming Western Colorado University's Sarah Mortenson the women's diver of the week.

A senior, Mortenson posted Mountaineer a pair of records on the 1-meter board at the December 4 home-meet victory against Adams State University. Her six-dive total of 246.15 points was Mortenson's first record of the afternoon, and her 11-dive score of 432.9 points set not only a Western record, but also qualified her for the 2022 NCAA Division II national meet in Greensboro, North Carolina, on March 9-12.

This will be Mortenson's first trip to the national meet.
