SALT LAKE CITY --- The Western Colorado men's basketball team fell in its season finale 94-84Â to Westminster on Saturday night at Behnken Field House.

The Mountaineers finish the season 6-12 overall and 6-11 in RMAC play.
As for the game, Western trailed just 74-72 after
Matthew Ragsdale drained a 3-pointer with 7:10 remaining in the contest. But the Griffins (9-10 overall, 9-10 RMAC) answered with a 3-pointer from
Taylor Miller on its next possession to ignite a 12-0 run capped by an Isaiah Banks layup with 3:28 left to make it 86-72. The Mountaineers wouldn't get within single digits until the final minute of the contest.
Ragsdale led the Mountaineers with 25 points, going 10-for-16 from the field and 4-for-8 from 3-point range.
Avery Rembao finished with 21 points - going 7-for-9 from the field and 4-for-5 from 3-point range.
Grant Wilkinson also finished in double figures with 12 points to go along with six assists.
Reme Torbert and Joey Andrews led the Griffins with 17 points apiece.
